Very friendly staff and good food for a fair price. There's always a different dish of the day, often offering something typical for the region or the season. As it is linked to the Alliance Francaise de Nice, on the second floor, there's a small library, where one can study French. It is open to the public however, and the staff are very friendly to anyone, French student at the school, regular customer or random walk-in. Very good place!

The food and drinks here are very good and priced well. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, but the staff is what sets this place apart. Clay and Florent run a tight ship, get to know their customers and keep a welcoming atmosphere. I am a woman who travels solo often and it is always important that I find "home bases" out in the world--places where I am known, can go when I need a safe respite, want info on what's good in town, etc... This is that spot in Nice. So if you have a chance to go by, treat yourself to a mocha (Clay makes the *best*) and have a chat with the staff or other customers. You just may find kindred spirits and settle right in the way I did.

I have been a student at Alliance Francaise for three months and I eat at the cafe regularly. The chef and the servers always do everything possible to make it a great experience. They took the time to learn my name from the very beginning and I am greeted with a smile every time I enter. The food is tasty and healthy, and the premises are always clean and comfortable. I'll miss the cafe and its staff when I leave!

Kind and friendly staff ( all of them are really sweet), great coffee, burger and excellent service. Even if you don't study french you can come here and have a nice time. The location is central and the prices are correct.

Went for coffee and croissant and discovered a very friendly barista who knew exactly what a flat white was and served it hot. The accompanying croissant was satisfactory, and the space and relaxed atmosphere were just right to start our day.

I love the Cafe de l'Alliance Francaise for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I also enjoy an afternoon coffee, tea or even a glass of wine. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, very good prices.
